The reaction of converting vegetable oil into biodiesel produces the by-product of raw glycerine, which is purified through an internationally advanced technology that has been developed in the research laboratories of Ferrandina.
Purification occurs through various phases involving the separation of soaps such as fatty acids and of salts, the evaporation of the methanol and, lastly, the distillation of the product.
At the end of the processing stage the product has all the organolectic characteristics typical of glycerine and a percentage of over 99.7%.
The production is entirely KOSHER.
The manufacturing capacity installed is 25,000 tons per year.
