Mythen was founded in response to this question: clean chemicals manufacturing based on research into new products.

We see the chemicals industry as a sector in its infancy. Our imagination is only at the beginning of its journey as far as chemicals are concerned, and new products and processes can be discovered in this perhaps as in no other field. In times like this it’s exciting to be in an industry in which concepts such as innovation and research have true meaning, and make a difference to the present and the future each and every day.

Since its very beginnings, Mythen made research the keystone of its very existence. In line with this, it embarked on an industrial project the main objective of which is to develop products related to technologies deriving from its own in-house research.
It is now little over three years since it began its industrial activity; the company has made it through a start-up period which was not without some hitches – a famous German saying goes “aller Anfang ist schwer” or, “every beginning is difficult”. Now, Mythen can be justifiably satisfied with its achievements so far, and is itching to press ahead and turn its multitude of ideas into new, innovative products. The company firmly believes that good ideas are bound to be successful, even more so when backed up by enthusiastic organisational work and a strong desire to make those ideas happen.

With this spirit and determination behind it, Mythen is confident it will reach new, ambitious goals.
